My Story
Karl W. Maust is a master's level Social Worker currently being supervised by LaDawn Tice, LCSW-C. He experienced a calling to become a social worker when he took an introduction to counseling class at Rosedale Bible College. From that point on, he knew the direction that God was leading him towards. In 2019, he graduated from Frostburg State University with a Bachelor of Social Work. With his bachelor's degree, he started working as a Crisis Intervention Case Worker as well as a Blended Case Manager. He has also worked within the homelessness prevention system for Western Pennsylvania helping communities on a macroscale. In 2025, he graduated with his Master's of Social Work with a certificate in Cognitive Behavior Therapy as well as Animal Assisted Therapy.
Karl believes in the power of hope and healing. His approach is rooted in empowering individuals to recognize and build on their own strengths. By fostering natural supports and inner resilience, he seeks to help clients navigate life's challenges with confidence and clarity.
